Studenterhus Århus is a place where students from all over the world, from all over Århus, and from various educations meet, communicate and socialize.
Studenterhus Århus have created an organisation where students, businesses, innovation, culture and knowledge meet.
Every day of the week it is something going on there. Every tuesday it is the exchange night, sundays it is the salsa day, mondays the language exchange, and so on. Also they are doing some specific events as Oktober fest, carnival, halloween, topic parties, as moustache party, hat party, and aslo lots of concerts and talent contests. It is open for everyone, but it's mostly an international studen comunity.
Now they are starting with a new prokect called, voice of Student life. The project is basically about creating a cross cultural understanding amongst students in Århus. It consists of short audio stories made by Danish and international students. The audios are about everyday student life in Århus, cultural differences, first encounters with a new city and embarrassing or funny experiences. They are all personal stories from the students own lives.
It is a really nice and big place to go and do different activities, near to the harbor, you can see the see just next to it.
