 If you decide to hire a car, you need to bear in mind that you have to pay a fare of 2€ per hour if you park the car in the centre. It is mandatory to pay from Monday to Saturday from 8 to 18h. Besides, it must be said that if you do not pay, they clamp your car....

Train

 I do not recommend to catch a bus a Ireland. It is very expensive and it takes a long time to arrive at your destinantion. It is so because Ireland did not want to suffer the industrial Revolution as a way to get its independence of England....

Irish City Link

I think that City Link id the best bus company you can use to tarvel throughout Ireland. They timetables are fabulous and if you buy the tickets through Internet you can find very good deals, for example you can find ticket since 1€, which is bargain....

Buses

 The bus station is in the South of Eyre Square. There are a few bus companies: Bus Eireann, City Link, and Go Bus. From Galway you can go by bus to most of the most important towns and cities of Ireland. My piece of advice is to use City Link and Go Bus because they have the best connections....

This museum is situated in Bowling Green. This house belonged to the family of Nora Barnacle, the wife of James Joyce. Then, Joyce visited Galway many times in his life. It is a pity that this museum is only open in summer time....
