I will introduce to you one of the best known supermarkets here, also you have to know that is the cheapest, but not much variety of products.

 

This supermarket is located in many places, including this next Grunwaldzki, in almost every neighborhood is usually one.

 

It will be easy to recognize because as you see is yellow with the emblem of the ladybug.

 

Biedronka has a lots of own brand products, so these products are cheaper, also has some special deals with certain branded products.

It also has a phone company itself, which has some very competitive prices.

 

Biedronka supermarkets are not very big, but you really have everything, but not much variety in each kind of product.

As in every supermarket in Wroclaw, you get charged for the bags, so if you take them with bags.

 

The mall is located at Plac Grundaldzki 22, you cannot miss it especially if you're going in the public transport, because the stop has the same name as the shopping center Grundwaldzki. Is crossing the river on the east side of Wroclaw.

 

In this shopping center you will find everything you need.

 

It has a cinema where you can also watch football matches, apart from the films as normal.

It has numerous restaurants (Sphinx, McDonalds, KFC, Asian restaurants, ...)

Many stores (H & M, Zara, Pull & Bear, Bershka, C & A, and many more)

Shops specializing in footwear (Deichman, ...)

Hardware stores, cafes, ice cream shops, magazine shops, cobblers, and much more.

 

Also on the lower ground floor there is a supermarket Delikatesy, where you can find everything, but it isnt very cheap, is like Hipercor in Spain.

 

Another thing that we may want to know about this mall is that it has free WIFI! :) so you can go with your laptop and sit in one of the many sofas that are in the mall and enjoy a free Internet connection.

Wrocleños all know that it is the bank PKO, where we go if we want to withdraw money from the ATM.

 

Whether your card NX (the best for an Erasmus), or any other, in this bank  is where we have found gives the best exchange rate against the other (in € to change to Zloty).

 

You can find it everywhere, so youll dont have problem, luckily for people who come to Tx dormitory, because you will have an ATM of PKO just below one of the Tx.

 

And at first think your NX dont charge you commission (its true), and you dont care get at any bank, but not, because even though you dont charge commission according to the bank gives you a different exchange rate, and usually the most beneficial for the € it is.

In Wroclaw there is a site which is known for everybody, and if you come here you will know, is the thermometer that is in this building you can see in the picture, and is among Rynek and Dominikaska Gallery.

 

In Wroclaw I would like to say that there are only about 3 thermometers, but as big and visible as this not any more.

 

Normally you can see it when you go in the tram or bus, and you can know the temperature does.

 

Many times you can use it as a meeting point.

 

Here is where I have seen temperatures of -20 ºC, and I have seen temperatures as welcome as more than 20ºC, I guess in summer will be much more, but still surprised to see those temperatures in a country like this.

 

If you want to know the temperature being in the street, is one way of know it, in addition also puts the time and date, which can be useful if you are in the area. 

From this bridge you will take some very nice photos, besides a great time to be with your couple.

 

The tradition of loving couples is to put a lock on this bridge as a sign of their eternal love.

 

In many other cities there are bridges like this, but in the one I put in a lock is this one, so for me is the most important.

Personally I dont see as a possible winner, especially knowing the many competing cities.

 

While looking at some pictures of Wroclaw think that they can at least try. Its river and the affluents, numerous churches, cathedral, and much more:

But I think it offers a cultural range as other cities such as might be our capital Madrid, Cordoba, Seville, and many others in Spain would Wroclaw above. Or for example think of Istanbul.

When I arrive in Wroclaw, I saw the schedules of buses and trams, and didnt know how to use it, I fel awkward.

 

Well, here in the photo you can see one, this specificity is about 406 which is the bus that go to the airport.

5 º) last but not least important, underneath it all, sometimes puts some letters (which appear in the list next few hours), these letters tell us whether at certain times makes a journey extraordinary (because it does another tour for any reason).

 

Something as simple and silly, can save many difficulties and problems before coming to Wroclaw (these times in other Polish cities are the same).

 

Renoma is a shopping mall, the most chic, there is also a bus-tram stop is right at your doorstep, named because the mall.

Very simple, it is important to let you know that the most of the road of Wroclaw, in many cities of the countries in the area as well, but I talk about my city, because if you are coming with wheeled luggage is horrible walking in this road, the same for girls with high heels.

The best and easiest way is to use a backpack, because the wheels are locked in each hole of the pavers, and it will break, for example if you have something delicate in the luggage with the tremor can break it. For example if you carry a laptop or a hard disk, it is not advisable to go in the wheeled suitcase because can cause it to suffer any damage.

 

Especially for spontaneous visitors remember not come with wheeled luggage, and will be better with a backpack, because in a backpack you can carry everything you need.

The truth is that especially in spring and summer seasons is really nice walk over the bridges, and enjoy the great views that will delight.

If you are in Wroclaw, and see someone running, is very possible that is reaching the tram or bus.

 

Since I came to Wroclaw I have not stopped to running following trams and buses, but that is normal, because if you dont do it, you´ll lose it, and if you lose it, you will be getting cold for 15-20 minutes until the next one.

The truth is that I lost many, but I've also run the 100 meters in 8 seconds to reach it.

 

Therefore, it is best to go with comfortable shoes, because in any time youll have to run.

It is a picture that measuring about 120m wide and 15 high, and represents the Polish war with the Russians happened in the XVIII century.

There are 2 places that are essential to the life of a "wrocleño" are:
